Can sellers pay the credit card convenience fee?

Yes, sellers can pay the credit card convenience fee. By default, buyers pay the credit card convenience fee, because they have the choice to pay by bank account without a convenience fee. However, sellers can choose to pay it:

• When sending a payment request from your GunTab account: On the page where you enter the merchandise and shipping prices, click the link for “Credit card convenience fee”. That will reveal an dropdown for “Credit card convenience fee paid by”. In this dropdown, select “Seller”.
• When using Checkout buttons/links: On your “Account” page in GunTab, click “Checkout preferences”. Then for “Checkout payment method convenience fee paid by”, select “Seller”.
