What to do when a payment fails?
If your payment through GunTab fails, GunTab will send you an email with 1) the failure message provided by your bank and 2) instructions to solve the problem before re-trying payment.
How to re-try a failed payment
After you’ve followed the instructions to solve the problem, go to your GunTab Dashboard and click the pending transaction. You can either:
- Re-attempt using the same payment method, or
- Switch to another payment method.
The most common reasons for a failure
The most common reasons for payment failure include:
- Bank accounts:
- Wire routing number (instead of ACH routing number).
- Incorrect account number.
- Insufficient funds.
- Credit Card:
- Declined payment. Some banks automatically decline transactions with large amounts or unfamiliar merchants. You may need to approve the charge by calling your bank.
- Incorrect billing address (after a change of address).
