Can buyers pay the service fee?

Yes, buyers can pay the service fee. By default, sellers pay the service fee, because it is customary for merchants to pay for transaction processing. However, buyers can choose to pay it:

  • Case-by-case: When sending a payment offer/request from your GunTab account: On the page where you enter the merchandise and shipping prices, click the link for “Service fee”. That will reveal an dropdown for “Service fee paid by”. In this dropdown, select “Buyer”.
  • Generally: On your “Account” page in GunTab, click “Transaction preferences”. Then for “Service fee paid by”, select “Buyer”.
