What happens if the buyer fails the background check?

For merchandise that must be transferred through a gun dealer, the buyer must pass a NICS background check performed by the gun dealer.

If the buyer fails that background check, they should mark the transaction as “transfer rejected”. They will then be required to reimburse all shipping and transfer fees incurred by GunTab or the seller. They will receive a partial refund of whatever remains of their payment after those expenses are reimbursed.
