How does the buyer inspection period work?

GunTab is escrow and protects buyers from scams by offering a 3-day inspection period. When the buyer accepts or the inspection period ends without a dispute, GunTab sends the disbursement to the seller.

When does the inspection period start?

The inspection period starts when the shipment is marked as delivered by GunTab (or marked as ready for pickup/dropoff transactions).

When does the inspection period end?

The inspection period ends after exactly 3 days, or earlier if the buyer accepts or disputes the transaction.

The 3-day period represents calendar days. It does not make exceptions for weekends, holidays, gun dealer processing times, or statutory “waiting periods”.
